The project “Agritransnet – creation of a transnational commercial network for the development of Apulian and Romanian agricultural enterprises”, financed by the Italian Law no. 84 of 2001, is managed by Fiera del Levante Servizi Srl and realized in cooperation with the Regional Government of Apulia, Confcooperative Puglia, Consortium LEADER, Coldiretti Puglia, Consortium Tecfor, and the Romanian Chambers of Commerce of Costanta, Tulcea, Ialomita e Calarasi.

Agritransnet aims at the creation of a strong international collaboration network between Romanian and Apulian small and medium-sized enterprises from the agricultural sector.

With the general objective to further the competitive advantage of the agro-food value chain on a national, European and international basis, Agritransnet offers to promote common planning, promotion and commercialization of Romanian and Apulian agricultural products.

The network offers aggregation possibilities for operators in the agro-food sector in order to increase the added value of both products and commercial processes, also keeping in mind the possibilities for economies of scale and other cost reductions.

Finally, Agritransnet represents a source for significant cumulative experience which will allow for an exchange of higher level know-how and best practices.
